I also recommend coconut oil for hair. But if you have skin issues, olive oil is hard to beat.

I'm white and I have stupid hair lol. I use products normally used by black women and it has made a WORLD of difference for my hair. To the point my mother now uses the same products. We have a lot of Native American on her side of the family, so that may be part of our problem.

What I'm using right now is a Biolage product that I got at a Sears salon, but I know the salons inside walmarts sell the same line of products.

http://www.amazon.com/Matrix-Biolage-Exquisite-Replenishing-Treatment/dp/B008BT2P7S This is the leave-in oil treatment after washing and conditioning. I just squeeze the water out of my hair, massage some of this in, then wrap my hair in a towel for half an hour (longer if possible) and then I can comb my hair without tangles and it stays nice and soft and smooth once dry.

The shampoo and conditioner I use. It smells wonderful and all three products together have made my hair a new creature lol

And I think buying the products at the salon was cheaper than buying them off of Amazon would be!
