Bright Young Things

I am obsessively checking the ratings for Sleepy Hollow. It went down by a million and half for the second episode but it still has pretty good ratings at 8.59 million. I really want this show to get a second season. Like I said somewhere else I haven't been this excited about a show since I started Scandal.

I started making some icons as well. I made another batch of Community icons and you can find them at buttercup_magic I was too lazy to put them up on DW haha.

I keep sleeping and thus I keep having strange as fuck dreams. The last one my dad died *knocks on wood* and the one before that was like in high school and then it turned into apocalypse and then Martel swooped in like the motherfucking Batman and rescued me and then made a speech and then burnt shit down and like when we in the sky the fire looked like it was on top of a birthday cake. WTF? I swear to god I actually dreamed this shit.

I've download some fractions sheets and I'm going to work on those today and whatnot. I'm still working on my languages.

And I finally got the book. It is really heavy which I really like and I love the pages and the layout and AH. I'm such a book nerd.

Oh and I found an affordable vet near the house. I still have to get a carrier and I need to check exactly how much will an exam be. But I think I'm going to take him out that one. It's on our normal route but I'm going to take after we get everything done so I can stay with him. Bisco is a little shy around new people.

Hey you guys! I'm trying to get back into regularly updating my blogs. I decided my Blogger account needed a new Header since the blog really focuses on books and the header I had didn't fit exactly.

I was just thinking about Tumblr. I wasn't aware of it for the longest time. I didn't really discover until one of my friends on LJ posted about having a Tumblr and checked hers. I didn't really understand what it was for. Was it for pictures? I thought so and so I held off on getting one because I didn't really think I'd use it.

But I have to say I like Tumblr. I don't love it. But it definitely has it uses and as a visual person I definitely respond to it. But I prefer LJ when I'm looking for discussions and possibly fanfic, though AO3 is starting to take LJ's place as my main fanfic archive.

But anyway, I played 3 today as well as 2 though with both of them I only ready did some makeovers. Holly had her birthday and since I lost the last time I made her over, I had to do it again. I think I like this one better. I fiddled around in PS with a picture I took of her. I'm finally uses poses for something haha.



Her everyday outfit is yellow dress with white heels but I thought she looked cute in her nightclothes AFTER I changed them. Her original ones were a purple bra and a pair of jean shorts. Like wtf girl? Who wears jeans to bed?

Well that's about all that's happened for today except some of my extended family came by.

As of 2: 10 pm this afternoon, I finished A Storm of Swords. All 1,062 pages of it. I honestly thought at the beginning that I wouldn't be able to finish a book with that many pages, but I so did. Fucking ace bro!

Here's my review. I am still reeling from the epilogue. I'm not spoiling anyone, but it was fucking sweet!

Wow this book was a hell of a ride. It makes the first time on two counts. It was the first time in the long time that after I finished one book in the series that I went and started the next one. I usually wait awhile before reading the next book in a series, so I won't overdo myself. But I simply couldn't wait with ASOIAF. I just had to know what happened next. The second first is that this is the first time in like forever that I've finished a book with this many pages. I always look upon similar books with dread. But it honestly didn't feel like it was that long. I looked forward to reading more of this saga.

The epilogue was just beautiful. I won't spoil anyone because I fear I may have done that already with my status, but I'll just say that it's perfect.

Yesterday I also finished my required icons for thefandomzoo. My fandom was Gossip Girl of course and I decided to do the color red with Blair. I've put them below the cut. I'm still learning, but I'm really proud of them. Feel to snatch one if you like it. Credit is nice, but no hotlinking bitches ;D
