Day 26 + Is This Madness?

Day 26: Do you draw your char­ac­ters? Do oth­ers draw them?

I have drawn them, but when I have them on paper, they aren't how imagined them in my head and at this moment, I really don't have the patience to work on my drawing skills. I used to be ace about drawing the face, but as I got better and less stressed, I didn't really turn to drawing to make me calm down.

So I deleted like good 60 GB of shit I don't use off of my computer. It's mostly music I don't listen to and ton of podcasts and all that stuff.

And I realized as I was backing up my download folder for The Sims 3 that since the 1st I have some how accumulated almost 2GB of stuff. This is my truth, I've always been a download whore, especially when it comes to Sims. So much good stuff!

I also backed up my neighborhoods. I'm about to put some mods and hacks in, so I want what I've played to be safe so I can return to them, though I'm going to start a new copy of Moonlight Falls because the sisters house was fucked or something. Anyway.

I have so many ideas in my head you guys. It reminds me of when I was a teen and going through mania. I stayed up through the night and wrote down all these notes. I yelled at my mom for interrupting me. I've been doing a lot of that today. But she's been bitching at me about messing with the TV and SHE asked me to do it, so idk. But I need to pull it back. I can't let myself slip into mania. My schedule is all off.

Well that's is all that's new from me. No real writing today, just incessant downloading and numerous tabs open.

I just bought the Sims 3 today, though I got it online so it won't arrive til like Monday or Tuesday. But last night and today I downloaded a whole load of stuff for it XD I'm so excited, I used to love the Sims 2 but then I didn't have so much time for it once I started working. Now I'm working so hard I feel like I need something pure fun and stress-free to make myself feel better!

What are your favourite sites to download sims stuff from? Also, what expansion packs do you have and which are the best? I'm planning to get Pets, Seasons, Ambition, and then University when it's out. University was always my favourite Sims 2 expansion!

I don't have any hard favorites as I'm just returning to the game myself. But I always liked All About Style and she has a lot of clothes for Sims, they are more of the preppy and designer variety.

But I do use three sites to find a variety of downloads across the web.

Oh plus I would be lost with Mod the Sims. They have content for both games, though slightly less for 3.

I have all the expansions except Late Night. Personally I really love Generations and Supernatural, though I haven't played them fully. I have a few of the stuff packs too haha.

Thanks! I remember All About Style back in my old Sims 2 days! They were always the best place to get elder clothes, I remember, it was really hard to get nice clothes for the older sims! I'll have to go and see what they're like now!

I think I want both of those! I'm trying to make my mind up because I read that installing the expansions in order makes for a more stable game, so I have to be really sure what I want so I can buy them in order. I can't be bothered uninstalling everything every time I get a new expansion! So I'll probably get Generations (undecided on that one), Pets, Supernatural, Seasons and University.

The bulk of outfits are made for the adult stage, which I can kinda of understand, so I really appreciate it when creators make stuff for the other ages as well.

Haha I've heard that. I know it was recommended for Sims 2, but I'm not sure about 3.

Generations is more family focused and it has a lot socials like prom and graduation for teens and a lot of stuff for kids. I love stuff like that so I immediately bought it.
