I don't know how I feel about audiobooks.
On one hand I like listening to them. I used to be frustrated when I tried to read along with them in my book. Axed that and just started to listen.
But see if I listen to an audiobook in its entirety can I count that as a read book? Have I 'technically' read or have I just listened to it?
It feels a bit to my mind like cheating since I didn't like sit down and read it from beginning to end. Then also I sometimes tune out and I miss stuff. I mean I guess I do that when I glance over the boring parts.
So basically I don't know how I feel about audiobooks.

Date: 2014-02-09 11:45 am (UTC)I'm not a huge fan of audiobooks but I do love being read to. My partner reads to me quite often. It's a tradition we started back when I was studying full time and my eyes would get too tired from reading textbooks for me to keep on reading on my own for leisure. It's so nice to curl up together and listen to a story :)
